OUR STORY
Restoring a Suppressed Legacy in Vienna
The Akademischer Verein Jüdischer Mediziner in Wien was, before its dissolution during the National Socialist era, an important pillar of scientific excellence and communal identity. After decades of silence, we have brought this association back to life to honor our predecessors and at the same time create a modern platform for Jewish medical professionals in Vienna.
Our mission is to bridge the historic break and to foster a community that is conscious of its tragic past as well as committed to a vibrant professional future.
